The Women’s Shalom Circle looks for ways to serve our church, community, and world. Some examples of ways we have done this are … serving at the Mount Auburn Church Vacation Bible School, distributing hygiene bags to the homeless via Park Fletcher Mission, collecting hats and gloves during the winter for the homeless, collecting vases to create beautiful flower arrangements for the elderly in nursery homes, donating to Samaritan’s Purse, writing letters to the veterans going on the Honor Flight to thank them for their service and more! We look for ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We put love into action and have fun doing it!
We meet every second Monday of the month at 2 pm in the Youth Room of Mount Auburn Church (enter Door 7).

What We’re Doing Now:
Share the Love with Socks, Hats, and Gloves
Beginning on Sunday, December 17
The Shalom Circle Women’s Ministry will continue the tradition of decorating the Angel Trees with socks, hats, and gloves. Beginning Sunday, December 17 join us in donating these children’s winter items so we may display them on the tree before giving them to organizations that assist kids in need.
The Mount Auburn congregation exhibited wonderful generosity during Christmas 2022! So much so, that the Shalom circle was able to donate your items to HOOP (Helping Our Own People), KIC-IT (Kids in Crisis Intervention Team), as well as Isom and Northeast Greenwood Elementary Schools.
