Mount Auburn Daycare
Mount Auburn Daycare is a ministry of Mount Auburn Church, a nonprofit Christian organization serving families in Greenwood and Johnson County. Through a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment, the daycare supports children’s growth while helping families in our community.
Tuition and program fees support the qualified staff, facilities, curriculum, meals, safety training, and other services required to operate the daycare. Any funds beyond the daycare’s operating needs remain within Mount Auburn Church and are used to support other ministries and needs of the church.
Mount Auburn Daycare exists as part of the church’s mission to serve children and families with the love of Christ.
The daycare serves children from 6 weeks old to 5th grade.
Age Groups
Infant Care
Infant care is provided for children ages 6 weeks to 12 months. All care providers are Safe Sleep trained and CPR and First Aid certified.
Toddler to PreK
Toddler – PreK care is provided for children ages 12 months – 5 years. Care includes age appropriate Christian based curriculum, including weekly chapel and music classes (3yrs – PreK), story time, and crafts. Children are offered playtime in our bike room, gym, and playground.
School Age
School-age care is offered for children in Kindergarten – 5th Grade. We provide transportation before and after school. please, see below for the list of schools we serve. Breakfast and an afternoon snack are included. Children are offered plenty of time in our gym and our outside playground area. Weekly Bible club is offered through the Mount Auburn Children’s Ministry.

Summer Camp
Summer Camp is available from 6:30am – 6pm for children ages 5yrs – 12yrs. We offer 3, 4, and 5 day plans that include meals, worship arts, Bible club, and regular field trips. Field trips include activities like bowling, movies, parks, and weekly swimming.
