Mark your calendars now for Mission Week
The Mission Team has been busy planning several opportunities for you to hear about the work of our Mission Partners, pray for unreached people groups, and learn how to be a Great Commission Christian.
3rd annual Mission Fair
Come meet our Mission Partners between services!
200 Banks for Boaz!
If you have been praying for orphans and adding coins to your Boaz Bank, please tape the bottom of the bank before you lift it. We’ve had a few surprises!
The gift banks are due on Sunday, April 19, but if you are ready to bring your gift bank in now, you may put it on the Boaz Bank table by the Mission Wall in Trinity Hall. Remember to tape the bottom!
Prayer Time
We will have a 19-foot wall with the names of all of the unreached people groups!
Build an Accessibility Ramp
Join a Mount Auburn team to help build an accessibility ramp in the Pebble Creek Mobile Home Community. Servants at Work builds freedom and independence through accessibility ramps. 1/2 day starting in the morning.
OMS Flags
Gather at One Mission Society (941 Fry Road) at 9:00 a.m. to take part in replacing the flags at the front of OMS headquarters. Each old flag will be lowered, the country will be prayed over, and a new flag will be raised.
Mission Mingle
Come 6-8pm. We are excited to have Mike & Missy Wilson and Mount Auburn’s own, Bethany Joseph, present about the amazing work that myLIFEspeaks is accomplishing in Haiti.
OMS Flags Rain Date
ReStore Tour
Meet at the Habitat ReStore in Whiteland (6720 N US-31) at 6:30 p.m. Find out what exactly a Habitat ReStore is, what types of items are sold, what types of donations are accepted, and how Habitat ReStores play an important role in supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission.
First annual BYOL and Learn
BYOL stands for Bring Your Own Lunch. The Mission Team will provide drinks and desserts. For the “learn part,” Anja Staten will be presenting “How can I be a Great Commission Chrisitian? Explore 5 Ways.”
Serve Day
Come enjoy food, fellowship, and worktime, as we help fellow church members who may need some help with spring projects, and also knock-out some projects at church. The morning starts with donuts and drinks at 8:30 a.m. in the Community Room (Door 6). We’ll divvy up the work that needs to be done and then meet back in the Community Room at noon for pizza.
The Mission Team is so excited to see how God will use this week to grow our hearts for our neighbors and for His mission around the world!
