A Beautiful Piece of Our History Restored

There are moments in the life of our church that remind us just how deeply rooted we are in our shared story. This past week was one of those moments.

A Window Into Our Past

Did you know the stained glass now on display once belonged to our previous Mount Auburn Church building, which opened in 1904 across the road? For many years, these beautiful pieces were carefully stored away, waiting for the right time to return.

A Year of Dedicated Work

Over the past year, our Stained Glass Team worked diligently to restore each panel. Their care and commitment brought new life to something that holds so much meaning for our church. Seeing the stained glass shining again is a reflection of both their hard work and our shared heritage.

A Meaningful Reunion

It was especially meaningful to welcome members of the families who originally donated the stained glass. Having the Hughes and Dorrell families with us made the moment even more special, as they were able to see these treasured pieces once again.

Looking Ahead Together

We are grateful to have this nearly 125-year-old part of our history back in service. As light shines through these windows, we are reminded of the generations before us and the community we continue to build together.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the stained glass yet, we invite you to join us and experience this beautiful connection to our past.
